The Power of Connecting With Motivation

Rabbi Yitzhak Miller Connecting With Motivation By Felicity O’Hanlon

What motivates us to do things, strive after goals and push ourselves through a challenge? Usually we have a higher purpose, something that is worth facing challenges for. Whatever is dearest to us, is what motivates us. Sometimes the goal and the motivation are not the same thing at all. In order to reach your goals, something personal needs to be motivating you. The goal alone will not sustain your effort. One of the keys to success is connecting with your motivation over and above your goals.

You could consciously set goals and assume that they alone will motivate you. Setting goals is a great start to achievement but more is needed. Motivation is your reason for doing something. This might be different to the goal but it is essential that you are aware of what motivates you. What is most important to you, what you value most of all in life? Sometimes this is in our subconscious mind and we are not aware of it. When you become aware of your core motivation this immediately creates an energy shift.

Suddenly your conscious attention is focused on what is most important to you and this not only aligns you with your goals but gives you the power to move towards them. Conscious motivation is like a magnetic force, not only will it keep you going but it will draw you relentlessly towards your goals. Being aware of your key motivation will ensure that you achieve your goals because you can not give up on what is most important to you.

So what can this motivation be? It is a very personal and individual thing. You could have a goal to make more money. But the goal of making money alone is not powerful enough on its own. The secret is to ask yourself, “Why am I doing this, what will having more money give me that I do not have now?” When you have identified all the specific reasons “why”, and written them down, you will be much closer to your motivation. What could keep you from connecting with your motivation? A lack of self esteem can prevent you from valuing yourself enough and striving after everything that is important to you.

Rabbi Yitzhak Miller Secrets

The Secrets to Become a Motivated Person

Rabbi Yitzhak Miller Secrets By Real Andrews

When a person tries hard to accomplish goals or any tasks but does not have a full heart in doing so, that person’s efforts are meaningless and useless. In the end, the result will be mediocre and below expectations. If you want to be successful, and you want to be someone who accomplishes any task or goal with full pledge effort, you must become a very motivated person first. Motivation is the number one key in making it through any endeavor. So what would you need to do or have to be a very motivated person? Consider some of the things below:

1. Know your goals and why you want it. In any endeavor, you should always know what you want to achieve and what is your purpose for achieving it because this will serve as your motivation and guideline. By having a clear goal, and by specifying why you want those goals, you will be helped in deciding which of your abilities will be best to use to achieve your goals.

2. Listen to yourself and don’t compare yourself to others. No matter how successful you are, there will be someone else who, to you, looks like he/she has got it made - who looks like she/she is getting where you want to go, faster and easier than you are. Don’t fall into the mistake of doing exactly what they are doing because not all paths and strategies can work for everyone. You should focus on your own strengths and achievements to figure out what you want to do.

3. Visualize your success. This is not about daydreaming but picturing and embedding in your mind your way to success. Inevitably, once you get this picture in your head, you will realize what you can do to achieve it.

4. Develop the habit of enthusiasm. Like humor, enthusiasm can make other people be drawn to you, and it can build you a pleasing personality. But most importantly, enthusiasm is where passion starts. Being enthusiastic about your goals and your aspirations will make you passionate in your work towards it. Enthusiasm will also motivate, not only yourself but also the people around you.

5. Be your own best friend and critique. No one can know yourself better than you. And no one has more right than you to scrutinize yourself as you progress in life. Be the first one to tell yourself that you can do anything, or you can be the best you want to be. Learn how to motivate yourself by keeping your progress and strengths in check.

Whatever your life endeavor is, business, relationships, self-improvement, etc., you will need tremendous amount of motivation. And the first place you will find it is within you. So look into yourself and be the first one to give out the motivation you need to succeed.
